Welcome to the homepage of
Jesper Vineyard

Jasper Vineyard is located in the village of Dłużec, in the Lwówek Śląski county in Lower Silesia. The owner of the vineyard is Bogusława Wolniewicz, but the main burden of founding and running it is taken by her father – Roman Wolniewicz.

The total area is 1,16 hectares, with a planting density of 3760 plants per hectare. The vineyard has a southern and south-western exposure with a slope up to 30 degrees. The ground here is composed mostly pebble-loam (rotliegend) and is located about 265 meters above sea level.

The vineyard has been founded in 2003. Plantings spread over time allowed to gradually manage the entire surface planned for cultivation. The final selection will be finished after a couple years – the reduction of the shrubs is based on the quality of the fruit and the wine produced from the specific variety. The ones that hold the most promise are Riesling – amongst the white wines, and Regent from the red ones. But Pinot Gris and Traminer along with Marechal Foch, Rondo and Pinot Noir don’t fall far behind. The ones that didn’t pass the adaptation process are Dunkelfelder, Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Aurora.

A very good localization and equally good soil-climatic conditions allow us to cultivate varieties of vitis vinifera and the hybrids made through ecologic methods.

We plan to improve the residential and leisure conditions as well as building a winery.
